Frogs are wonderful creatures and they appear in all shapes, sizes and colours in this book. This book also includes birds and plants, which are used to demonstrate the different colours we can see in nature. "Red bird, Red plant, Red frog, Yellow bird, Yellow plant, Yellow frog, Blue bird, Blue plant, and Blue frog". There's a surprise at the end when we find a multicolored frog!In its simplicity it is repetitive, and children might quickly pick up the order of the images and will be anticipating what will come next. The book also helps introduce them to English adjective-noun order.
