This is a great favourite! This book is an excellent example of full bright bold pictures of animals who ask children if they can do certain movements. The story starts at the top of our body and moves slowly down to our toes! "I am a penguin, and I turn my head. Can you do it?" "I can do it!" We meet a giraffe who bends his neck, a buffalo who raises his shoulders, a monkey who waves his arms. I'll leave you to guess who wriggles his hips, thumps his chest, kicks his keg, and arches his back. This book deals with body parts and focuses on head, shoulders, knees and toes. It cries out for a rendering of the famous song "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes".
