Per il primo ciclo della scuola primaria.
Assumed level: After 240 hours.
This is the story of Ulysses and his quest. This book, which is quite long, is split into seven chapters that cover seven of his adventures; the wooden horse, the Cyclops, Circe and her spells, the Sirens, the whirpool, the sea god and then finally, going home. The stories are all accessible and clear and each one is supported by fun drawings and sketches which supports the language being used.
This book would lend itself to the topic of 'The Greek Myths' or 'Adventures'. Each story, in each chapter, could start a fascinating and interesting discussion about what your learners would do if they were in that position. You may want to read this as a class book and then ask, before the 'solution' to the problem in each chapter is revealed, how they would solve the problem they've heard about/read about.
