The story of the Tripp(!) family takes you from packing the bags at home to arriving at their destination hotel, via the airport and flight and shows you what happens when you go to the airport and go on a flight. Vocabulary for all aspects of flying and airports is introduced and used in this beautifully illustrated book. This could be a great topic starter for transport, journeys or holidays and could neatly lead to children talking about going on journeys themselves, and perhaps evn on flights. The language could be easily recycled in a role play with passengers, pilots, air stewards, check-in staff, taxi drivers and all!
