This very simple book looks at water in its different states, an important scientific concept for children to grasp. It has a repititive format which will have children echoing the words and especially the structure 'This is too!' Water is everywhere. We see "A river is water". And as we are shown a picture of a tap with running water we see "This is too!. "Rain is water." is followed by an illustration of a garden sprinkler, "This is too!". "Frost is water" is alongside a picture of a child eating a slush puppy (ice drink) followed by, "This is too!". This collection is accompanied by detailed notes for teachers to read, which will help explain some of the concepts if necessary.
